My name is Julia, and I am an Hermana of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc.
After crossing my organization in SP17, I was frustrated to find that I didn't have a lot of options for para. I found that it was easy to buy things that had my letters on them, but what was lacking was the true spirit of my organization (and many others I saw). How many of us have hopped onto a para website to find that the creators missed the mark on our personality and values? Our letters and symbols are so much more than that, they have meaning, history, and culture. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create the styles that I was looking for myself. What started as a fun side project has turned into so much more, taking inspiration from Latina clothing brand favorites to come up with creative, forward-thinking, and more affordable options. Now I am one of a few queer Latina-owned para businesses serving multicultural and Latina-based sororities.
We are proud to be the only Latina/Multicultural-focused Greek paraphernalia shop in the Pacific Northwest. I am located in Portland, Oregon.
