How it works: typical production timeline on made-to-order items

Once a week, we will gather all made-to-order printed apparel purchases and submit those orders to our local print shop partners in Portland, OR. Typically, they will print these items within 1-1.5 weeks. From there, we will pick up the items and hand package them with love to ship to you.

For made-to-order apparel embroidery (excluding hats at this time) we will order in blank garments to be stitched on as orders come in. We keep some common colors in stock.

Lastly, occasionally, items of all kinds are made at other facilities around the country to supplement high order volume and particularly for our cut/sew and sublimation products (flags, mugs, blankets). These are shipped separately and charged an additional shipping fee reflected in your order total. 

Ordering + Shipping

How long in advance should I place my order for crossing/an event?

Made-to-order items can take anywhere from one to three weeks to process and 3-7 days of shipping time. Products kept in-house (stickers, keychains) can be turned around faster (leave a comment if you're on a deadline and I will try my best to get them in the mail ASAP). We advise that you plan at least three weeks ahead, if not more, for important dates.

Rush ordering may be available at $10 a garment. Contact us to let us know what you need and we can provide our fastest timeline to you.

Can you make something custom for me? 

Maybe! Reach out with your request. I am happy to create a design for a bulk order. Individual custom requests are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on workload and demand. Suggestions for products are always welcome!

We will not make content/para that brags about a difficult intake process, puts down other sororities or unaffiliated/dropped womxn, is generally elitist in nature or not in good taste. We do not want our para to reflect or foster negativity.

I see you offer Sezzle! How does it work?

We are excited to partner with Sezzle to offer affordable payment plan options on orders of $75+! Be sure to select Sezzle at checkout to take advantage of the payment plan option.

Why $75+? Sezzle charges us fees to use their service, and with royalties and fees that we pay to organizations, we just can't offer it for lower amounts and keep our prices low. However, we also recognize that buying para for long lines is extremely cost prohibitive. We want to make it more accessible for individuals and chapters to be able to buy gifts for their lines (or even if you want a shopping spree for just yourself and want an easier way to do that, we get it). We are always running our 6+ stickers for 20% off deal as well, with code NEOSZN at checkout. 

Why haven't I received an order confirmation?

You've either given us a misspelled email address, or did not provide one. Let us know by sending us a message below and we will update your contact information!

Oh no! I ordered the wrong item! How do I change/cancel my order?

Please let us know immediately! If you give us a heads up before your item is made or packed, we can change it. Made-to-order items cannot be canceled once they are started. The best way to figure out where in the process your item is would be to email/message below to check up on it. 

I forgot about a coupon/discount, can I apply it to my order?

Sorry, we cannot retroactively apply a discount to your order. 

Do you offer bulk prices?

Bulk pricing starts at 10+ of the same item. Exact percentages vary on the item and production method, please inquire for the latest offerings. Pa'lante is a very small business, and as an individual it is challenging to offer the rock-bottom pricing from large Greek shops. At the same time, Pa'lante strives to make para accessible and we can work with your chapter! If you have significant financial barriers reach out to see what we can do.

A minimum deposit of 50% the order value is required to start a bulk order. The remaining balance must be paid prior to shipping. This is especially important if you are on a tight timeline that has been agreed upon by you and Pa'lante.

I only received part of my order.

Some pieces are stored and/or printed and shipped directly from Portland, OR, which is Pa'lante's home base. Other items are shipped out directly by our manufacturing partners with fulfillment locations in Charlotte NC, Los Angeles CA, Dallas, TX, Tijuana MX, and Europe (listed in order of most to least likely to be sent out from). These separate shipments are typically our flags, blankets, mugs, phone cases, and occasionally apparel.

My package never arrived.

Before getting in touch with us, double-check the address you provided to make sure it is correct. We will not replace any packages that are lost due to an incorrect address. If the address is correct, reach out to your local USPS contacts and provide your tracking number for assistance. 

Please note that if you choose UNTRACKED shipping at checkout, we cannot provide assistance for a lost package.Untracked shipping is only available on accessories orders under $25.

Returns + Exchanges

My order arrived damaged/incorrect/wonky. 

If your item arrived damaged, incorrect, or just really weird in some way, please let us know by emailing us at info@palantepara.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Please also send along a picture of the item. We will be happy to replace the piece for a new one.

Returning apparel (shirts, joggers, hats, fanny packs), phone cases, customized jewelry:

These items are made to order and we cannot offer returns or exchanges. Please take a look at the size guides to make sure you are getting the right fit.

Returning stickers, keychains, totes, non-customized jewelry:

Give us a heads up at info@palantepara.com and ship the unworn/unused items to the address provided within 7 days of receiving your order.

Exchanges

Sorry, we do not offer exchanges at this time.

Ordered the wrong size and realized after it was too late? Here are some suggestions:

  • Save the item for a crossing gift, big, or little
  • Exchange with someone else in your organization
  • Sell to someone else in your organization
  • Include the item in a chapter fundraiser raffle

Care Instructions

DTG, heat-pressed, & screen printed apparel:

Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life (especially heat-pressed items). Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.

Gold-plated jewelry:

Avoid water, chemicals (such as cleaning products), and perfumes/lotions. Use a soft jewelry cloth to restore shine. Do *not* use a polishing cloth as this will strip away the plating.
